Further Directives are being devised and existing Directives are being revised so it is important to find out what Directives apply before starting to CE Mark a product.
RELEVANT UK AND EU LEGISLATION
The table below lists the current UK and EU legislation for specific goods.
The EU Documents are normally called “Directives” or “Regulations”.
The UK legislation is issued as a “Statutory Instrument”
Copies of the UK statutory Instruments are available feely on line, should you have any difficulties in obtaining them please contact us and we will provide a copy.
You will note that as at 1 March 2021 the content of the UK Statutory Instrument mirrors the EU Directive/Regulation but over time these may differ.

N.B. Construction Products remain as the EU regulations. EU 305/2011 but must meet UKCA Requirements by 31 December 2021
N.B. Medical devices must meet UKCA Requirememts before 1 July 2023. Most Other equipment by 31 Decembe 2022.
N.B. Many of the Statutory Instruments listed have been amended since they were introduced you need to check to ensure you have the consolidated versions if you need to refer to them.
